1st Indigenous Culture and Film Festival:\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n\n

Conceived by Takum\u00e3 Kuikuro (general director), the 1st Cinema and Indigenous Culture Festival took place in December (2 to 11) and screened films produced by indigenous filmmakers, collectives and directors. The films represented more than 305 of the country's indigenous peoples and helped to promote, strengthen and disseminate their culture.<\/p>\n\n

The festival not only helped to share cinematographic work, achievements and progress in this area of work, but also contributed to the development of audiovisual production in Brazil.<\/p>\n\n

The film \"Amaz\u00f4nia Viva\" was enjoyed by the indigenous participants and the general public, leading to debates and discussions about the preservation of the biome and the defense of indigenous peoples' rights.<\/p>\n\n

CVR Festival - Virtual Showcase<\/strong><\/p>\n\n

The film \"Amaz\u00f4nia Viva\" was featured at the renowned virtual reality short film festival (CVR - Mostra Virtual) in Brasilia from December 1 to 4. The festival attracts a young audience with a strong focus on technology and games.<\/p>\n\n

In addition to the exhibition, debates were held to discuss deforestation in the Amazon and the human rights violations faced by indigenous peoples and local communities. Raquel Tupinamb\u00e1s (the film's protagonist and chief), N\u00faria Guerreiro (IRI Brasil) and Estev\u00e3o Ciavatta (the film's director) were present at the event to inspire and involve participants in solving these problems.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n

Among the films shown at the event, \"Amaz\u00f4nia Viva\" was the most viewed and best rated.<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t
